1:How to Mount a Soundbar To The Wall

The reason for choosing this guide is that you regularly watch TV from a fixed seating location. If you don't need to turn your TV around to view it from a different perspective, then keep reading and follow the step-by-step guide.

If you have bought a new soundbar then, there will be some accessories with it. It includes a pair of L-Shaped brackets, spacers or washers, and screws. There is also a Paper template that will help you position a soundbar.

Step 1- Attach Brackets to Soundbar

Firstly attach both L-shaped brackets to the soundbar. You will find a couple of holes on both sides, behind the soundbar. Pick up both screws and tighten both brackets on the screw holes by using a Philips head screwdriver.

Make sure the left bracket is placed on left side hole and right bracket on right side hole of a soundbar.

To ensure that both brackets are placed correctly, you can also see an arrow on both L-shaped brackets. The arrowheads will be facing each other.

Step 2- Place Paper Template on the Wall

Next step is placing a paper template, which will be sent with the soundbar, on the wall. This paper template will help you to exactly mount the soundbar below the TV.

Place a paper template 2 inches(5 cm) below the bottom of the TV. Align the center line exactly on the center of the TV. After that, must check the level of the paper template.

Step 3- Mark the Screw Points

There are two points on A and B on both sides (left and right). Mark A points on both sides with a tip of a pencil or a Sharpe object.

If your wall is dry-wall then, this tip will make a narrow hole. Push a screw (not supplied) through each screw-spacer or washer and then screw each screw firmly into a support screw hole.

However, if your wall is not drywall then, drill two holes on both points and hammer a wall anchor in it. Make holes according to the size of your wall anchors.

Step 4- Mount the Soundbar

Now, your soundbar is ready to mount on the wall. Pull up your soundbar and pass the wall screws through both holes of mount brackets, attached to the soundbar.

Now, your soundbar had been mounted to the wall. After that, pass HDMI or optical cable behind the TV. Then connect to both soundbar and TV.

Step 5- Hide cables

The last step is to hide the connection cables. If the mounted wall is drywall then, make a tinny hole behind the soundbar as well as the TV.

Pass connection cables from the hole behind the soundbar, to behind the wall, and again pass back from the hole behind the TV.

However, You can easily hide the cables by using a cable management box or zip ties and hooks to hide them without making holes or damaging the wall.

If you want to listen to the sound of your currently playing series so that it sounds like the TV is making the sound rather than another device. Then you have to mount the soundbar to a TV instead to the wall.

Step 1- Un-mount the TV

To prevent damage to your TV, first, unmount it from the wall if it is already mounted there. The soundbar mounting brackets must also be attached to the TV and the wall mount.

Don't unscrew both screws which may be tightened behind the TV. Remove the TV with the TV mount INstead of the wall mount. Un-mount the TV with extreme care.

Step 2- Eyeball the Bracket Placement

Certain TV wall mounts include brackets made specifically for soundbars. The advantage of putting your sound bar directly to the TV is that there will be fewer holes to line up and less damage to the wall.

You should also have attachment brackets if you have bought a new soundbar. You can check it by placing both ends of brackets.

You must determine how these brackets will lay together because the soundbar mounting bracket will require the same holes as the wall mounting bracket.

Step 3- Attach Brackets

The next step is to attach both wall mount brackets and soundbar brackets to a TV. Now tighten the screws at the ends of both brackets that are sent with the soundbar.

If the screws with the soundbar are not long enough then you have to buy new screws from a hardware store. Because it is essential to hold the soundbar firmly.

Step 4- Check and remount the TV

Now check that the bracket is attached firmly to the TV mount. If it bears a weight similar to the soundbar then ready to remount your TV.

The soundbar is not still attached to the TV. It is crucial to prevent your device from any damage that may occur during mounting the TV on the wall.

Step 5- Attach the Soundbar

Now you are going to do your final step. Go ahead and pick up both hard wears and tighten them on the brackets with the soundbar.

Make sure the distance between the bottom of the TV and the top of the soundbar will be 2 inches(5cm). It is crucial to listen the sound without any delay.

Now, your soundbar has mounted to the TV but here you have to do a little more to connect your TV with the soundbar. Pass connection cables i.e HDMI behind the TV and plug one end into the TV and the other into the Soundbar.

Now enjoy the best sound of your soundbar and watch your favorite series.
