Method 1: Hang Vinyls with Magnetic Hangers

Hanging the vinyl records with magnetic hangers is one of the easiest and most time-saving processes to hang your vinyl records on the wall. You can hang vinyl records only by using a magnet and a metal coil.

Step 1- Screw Metal Coil on the Wall      

Firstly, Drill a 6mm hole in the wall with a drill machine and hammer the plastic dowel into the hole. Pick up a metal coil and pass the screw through the hole of the coil.

Place the metal coil on the hole, which you have drilled. Now tighten the screw by using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Tight it forcefully until it stops rotation.

If the Screw will be loose then your vinyl record rotates with the rotation of the magnetic hanger.

Step 2- Place Magnet on the Record

In the next step, you have to place the magnet record hanger on the vinyl record. Pass the center tip of the magnetic hanger via a hole of record and tighten the nut on it. 

Do it with extreme care because it can put scratches on the vinyl record. If the vinyl record is scratched then it will waste your effort to show it aesthetically.

Step 3- Place Vinyl on the Wall

Last and very easy step, hold your vinyl record and place it exactly on the center of the metal coil that had screwed on the wall. The magnetic force between the metal and the magnet will attract each other and your vinyl record will hang easily.

The main advantage of it is that you can hang this record on any other metal. Moreover, you can easily remove it from the wall whenever you want.


Method 2: Hang Vinyls with Record Props

Step 1- Find the Best Place

Find the exact place on the wall where you want to hang your vinyl record with record props. Now drill a small hole(4.5mm) with a drill machine. 

After doing it, hammer a drywall anchor in it. Do it with extreme care to avoid any damage.

Step 2- Place Small X Mount

Put the screw through the washer and place the small X mount on the wall. Tight the screw with the help of a Phillips head screwdriver.

Now it's time to check the level of the wall mount. It is crucial because an irregular manner will waste your whole effort.

Step 3- Place Large X Mount

Place the large X mount on the small X mount. When both are exactly placed, pass the pin lock from both small and large X mount holes and lock it by twisting in a clockwise direction.

Now your vinyl record is hung. You can twist it in both directions(clock or anti-clockwise) to push the label at exactly the center point.


Method 3: Hang Vinyls with Sticky Tack









One of the easiest and cheapest ways to hang vinyl records on the wall is to hang the vinyl records with the help of sticky tack(poster putty or blu tack). You can easily hang your records in no time.

Step 1- Find the Best Place

Firstly, You have to find the best place to hang the record on the wall. Mark that spot (top center of the wall)with the help of a pencil.

After that, make sure there is no dust on the wall or clean it. It is crucial for the sticky tack to adhere.

Step 2- Place Sticky tack on vinyl

Roll a small amount of sticky tack into a ball. The size of the ball will depend on the size of the vinyl and the weight of the vinyl. 

After it, place the sticky tack ball on the top center corner of the vinyl record. Attach a thin ball of sticky tack instead of a ball which does not cause the emergence of the vinyl record.

Step 3- Place vinyl record on the Wall

Place the vinyl record on the wall with extreme care. Align the top center corner exactly with the mark of the pencil on the wall. Press it softly until the surface of the vinyl record is parallel to the wall surface.

This method is applicable to hanging only a low-weight vinyl record. You can hang a record of weight (450g).



Method 4: Hang Vinyls with Command Strips

There are many peoples who want to hang vinyl records on the wall without using nails and moreover, without damaging the wall. So if you have the same sound then the two below methods are truly for you

Step 1- Clear the Wall

First, find the best place where you plan to hang your record on the wall. Mark the wall spot with the pencil where you wish to hang the record.

Make sure the selected spot on the wall is clear and clean and there are no dust particles on it. It is crucial to stick the command strips on the wall.

If your wall is not clear, pick a paper towel and clean the area by rubbing it on the wall in a circular motion but slightly. Never use any sort of cleaner or water.

Step 2- Attach Command Strips

The command strips are always double-sided. Pick two command strips and separate them by tearing a part, don't fold them. Now click both together and press softly.

After that, remove the one-liner(only from one side) and place it on both, the top and bottom corners of the vinyl. Place horizontally not vertically. 

Don't apply command strips on Paper, Fabric, or any soft surface of the wall because it can harm the surface while removing it.

Step 3- Place vinyl on the Wall

In the last step, remove the other side one-liner from both attached command strips and stick it on the wall where you want. Make sure the upper side command strip sticks first and then the lower.

Softly press both the top and bottom corners for 5 seconds. Vinyl is a lightweight object that can stick on the wall for a long time easily.


Method 5: Hang Vinyls with Double-Sided Tape

Another easiest method for hanging vinyl records on the wall without using nails or drilling the wall is the use of double-sided tape. It can hold objects for a long time.

Step 1- Clean the Wall

To ensure the double-sided tape sticks properly, it is crucial to clean the area of the wall where you plan to hang your vinyl record.

By using a paper towel, clean the area because there should be dust particles on the surface of the wall that can oppose sticking tape on the wall surface.

Step 2- Stick Tape on the Vinyl

Un-roll your double-sided tape and stick it on both the top and bottom corner sides of the vinyl record. Place horizontally not vertically.

Make sure the pieces of double-sided tape are cut off according to the exact size of the vinyl. Nor small nor large enough.

Step 3- Place vinyl on the Wall

In the last step, remove the one-liner from the double-sided tape to stick it on the wall where you have planned.  Make sure the top corner sticks first and then the lower.

Place it in the first attempt, because if you remove the tape after sticking it on the wall, it will remove your paint or may damage it.


Method 6: Hang Vinyls with Record Frames

One of the simplest methods is to use Record Frames to hang vinyl records on the wall.


Measure and Mark Your Wall: 

Once you have all of your materials ready, it's time to measure and mark your wall. Choose the spot where you want to hang your record frames and use the measuring tape to measure the distance between the top and bottom of the record frame. Use your pencil to mark these measurements on the wall.

  Align and Secure Your Record Frames:

 Take your level and align it with the pencil marks you made on the wall. This will ensure that your record frames hang straight. Once you've confirmed that everything is level, make additional marks on the wall where the screw holes should go. Then, use your screws to attach the record frame to the wall using the holes you marked earlier. Make sure everything is secure and level before hanging your vinyl record inside the frame.
 

 Repeat for Multiple Record Frames: 

If you want to hang multiple record frames on your wall, repeat the above steps for each frame. Make sure to measure and mark the wall for each frame separately to ensure that everything is level and spaced out evenly.


Method 7: Hang Vinyls with Picture Frames


 Choose Your Picture Frames: Select picture frames that are large enough to fit your vinyl records. You can choose frames with or without glass, depending on your preference. Remove any backings, mats, or other inserts from the frames.  Measure and Mark Your Wall: Decide where you want to hang your picture frames and measure the space. Use a pencil to mark where you want each frame to go. Make sure you measure the distance between the top and bottom of the frame.  Hang Your Picture Frames: Using the pencil marks on the wall as a guide, attach the picture frames to the wall using screws and a screwdriver. If your frames have hangers, make sure they are securely attached to the wall. Hang your vinyl records inside the frames, and you're done!
