Step#2: Assessing Tile Installation:

The second step is to assess the conditions of your tile and the adhesive which was used to install your floor tiles because It is important to assess your tiles first to make your removal process smooth.

If the ceramic tiles are cracked, chipped, or loosed pay special attention. You can also use the tap test for this purpose, Tape gently on the tiles, if any tile sounds different Pay special attention because it indicates that the area beneath your tile may be hollow.

Also, inspect the conditions of your grout around your tiles and their impact on the removal. After all this inspection you are ready to remove the grout between your tiles.

Step#3:Removing Grout around Tiles :

Now the next step is the removal of grout around your tiles so that you can initiate the process of tiles removal. When the grout is removed you can easily remove the tiles from these spaces. There are many ways to remove the grout such as:

  • Manual Grout Removal: Manual grout removal refers to the process in which hand-specific tools are used to remove the grout between the tiles such as putty knife and grout saw. Before using make sure tools are sharp and in good condition.

Hold the tool in your hand and by applying light pressure move the tool along the grout, this will soften your grout. Now hold your tool or grout saw at a slight angle and remove all the material from the lines.
  • Mechanical Grout Removal: It is a method in which you can use an electrical machine instead of handy tools to make your work easy. It is also best if you are doing work in a large space,

Select the appropriate tool according to your need such as an oscillating tool with grout removal blades and set the depth of the tool according to your need. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to use it effectively. Make sure the surrounding tiles don't damage.

Step#4: Removing the Ceramic tiles:

             Now the next step is tile removal, it will go faster if you have the perfect tool and you have to find out the best starting point such as any cracked tile or any edge of tile. If you have found it out it's the time to start your work. There different methods for this purpose such as;

  • Removal with Cold Chisel: First find out a starting point such as the corner of a tile and edge. Now hold the cold chisel in your hand with a gentle grip, position it at the corner of the tile at an angle of 45 degrees, and apply some pressure.

You can apply pressure at the top of the chisel by using a hammer and lift the tile upward by breaking the bond between the tile and the adhesive. Now continue removing all others using the same method. The pressure must not be too much that it harms the tile. You can also use a shovel and floor scraper for this purpose.

  • Electric Tile Removal Tool: You can also use electrical machines to make your work easier such as a hammer drill with a chisel attachment. Firstly attach the chisel to the hammer according to the manufacturer's instructions then set the hammer drill according to need.

Now start the drill and apply some pressure. The combination of rotatory or hammering motion will loose the tiles from the ceramic Now repeat the process for all other sections.

  • Heat And Scrap Method: It is another method for removing ceramic tiles. In this method, you have to apply heat by heat gun across the tiles so that the adhesive beneath the tiles softens and the tile is easily removed.

After applying the heat you can check it from the corners of the tile whether the adhesive has softened or not. Repeat the method 2-3 times, check the adhesive, and scrap the tile off.

Step#5: Removing The Adhesive:

After removing the tiles there is a need to remove the adhesive which was used to attach the tiles to the floor. To remove this adhesive, Firstly you have to know what type of adhesive was used to fix the tile. It may be a mastic adhesive or thinest mortar. Mastic adhesives are easy to remove as compared to thinest.

  • Mastic Adhesive: To remove mastic adhesive start to scrap the glue with a chisel or long-handled floor scrapper, If it is not working use hot water to soften the adhesive because many mortars are water-soluble. Once the adhesive glue is softened remove it all with scrapper.

  • Thinest Mortar: Thinest mortar can't be removed by hot water because it is cement-like material. so if the initial step doesn't work you can use a grinder to remove it, Before using the grinder must wear your glasses and mask because it can send sharp shards.
After removing the adhesive clean all the area.

Step#6: Cleaning The concrete:

Now it's time to remove all the residue and waste from the concrete. All the material should be removed with the help of a dustpan and broom.

At this point, you should wear all your safety equipment such as gloves, mask protection glasses, etc because if you are dust allergic then it can harm your lungs. You can use a shop vacuum or wet vacuum to remove all debris.

Step#7: Preparing the concrete:

After cleaning the concrete it's time to prepare it for the next tilling or next use. See if there is any damage to the concrete or if there is any hole in the concrete then fill the holes within the concrete patching compound or smoothen the surface.

You can also apply a concrete sealer at the surface after smoothing uneven areas. Sealer will protect the surface from moisture, stains, and damage. Now after these steps, your concrete is ready to install any other tiling.

Step#8: Ready for Other Tile Installation:

It's the last point where your concrete is ready to install any type of other flooring tiles. For other installations, you must have a clear idea of what you want to do.

Choose the best tiles according to your choice and need and gave a new look to your room and home.

How To Fix Cabinet Door Ripped Off Hinges

Cabinet doors can easily become damaged, especially if they are frequently used or subjected to rough handling. One common problem is a cabinet door that has been ripped off its hinges. This can be a frustrating and potentially costly problem, as it can damage both the door and the cabinet itself.

However, with a few simple steps, it is possible to fix a cabinet door that has been ripped off its hinges and restore it to its original condition.

Step 1: Assess the Damage

Before you begin any repair work, it is important to assess the extent of the damage. If the door has been ripped completely off its hinges, you will need to determine whether the hinges themselves are still intact, or whether they have been damaged as well.

If the hinges are still in good condition, you can proceed with repairing the door. If the hinges have been damaged, you may need to replace them before reattaching the door.

Step 2: Gather Your Materials

To repair a cabinet door that has been ripped off its hinges, you will need a few basic tools and materials:

A screwdriver

Wood glue

Clamps

Wood filler

Sandpaper

Paint or stain (optional)

Step 3: Reattach the Hinges

If the hinges are still intact, you can begin the process of reattaching the door. First, remove any remaining screws or debris from the hinge area. Then, apply a small amount of wood glue to the area where the hinge will be attached.

Next, position the hinge over the glue and screw it into place. Be sure to use screws that are the correct length and diameter for the hinge.

Step 4: Repair the Door

If the door itself has been damaged, you will need to repair it before reattaching it to the cabinet. Start by using wood filler to fill in any cracks or holes in the door.

Apply the filler according to the manufacturer's instructions and allow it to dry completely. Once the filler has dried, use sandpaper to smooth out the surface of the door.

Step 5: Reattach the Door

Once the hinges and door are both repaired, you can begin the process of reattaching the door to the cabinet.

First, position the door over the hinges and insert the hinge pins into the hinge plates. Then, use a screwdriver to tighten the screws that hold the hinges in place.

Be sure to tighten the screws evenly to avoid putting too much pressure on one side of the door.

Step 6: Test the Door

Once the door is reattached, test it to make sure it opens and closes smoothly. If the door is still sticking or rubbing against the cabinet, you may need to adjust the hinges slightly to ensure that the door is properly aligned.

Use a screwdriver to adjust the screws that hold the hinges in place until the door operates smoothly.

Step 7: Finishing Touches

If the cabinet door has been repaired with wood filler, you may want to apply a coat of paint or stain to the door to match the rest of the cabinet.

Be sure to allow the paint or stain to dry completely before using the cabinet.

Conclusion

Fixing a cabinet door that has been ripped off its hinges is a relatively simple task that can be accomplished with just a few basic tools and materials.

By assessing the damage, reattaching the hinges, repairing the door, and testing the door to ensure that it operates smoothly, you can restore your cabinet door to its original condition and avoid the expense of replacing the entire cabinet. With a little patience and attention to detail, you can make your cabinet look as good as new

Step 1- Attach Brackets to Soundbar

Firstly attach both L-shaped brackets to the soundbar. You will find a couple of holes on both sides, behind the soundbar. Pick up both screws and tighten both brackets on the screw holes by using a Philips head screwdriver.

Make sure the left bracket is placed on left side hole and right bracket on right side hole of a soundbar.

To ensure that both brackets are placed correctly, you can also see an arrow on both L-shaped brackets. The arrowheads will be facing each other.

Step 2- Place Paper Template on the Wall

Next step is placing a paper template, which will be sent with the soundbar, on the wall. This paper template will help you to exactly mount the soundbar below the TV.

Place a paper template 2 inches(5 cm) below the bottom of the TV. Align the center line exactly on the center of the TV. After that, must check the level of the paper template.

Step 3- Mark the Screw Points

There are two points on A and B on both sides (left and right). Mark A points on both sides with a tip of a pencil or a Sharpe object.

If your wall is dry-wall then, this tip will make a narrow hole. Push a screw (not supplied) through each screw-spacer or washer and then screw each screw firmly into a support screw hole.

However, if your wall is not drywall then, drill two holes on both points and hammer a wall anchor in it. Make holes according to the size of your wall anchors.

Step 4- Mount the Soundbar

Now, your soundbar is ready to mount on the wall. Pull up your soundbar and pass the wall screws through both holes of mount brackets, attached to the soundbar.

Now, your soundbar had been mounted to the wall. After that, pass HDMI or optical cable behind the TV. Then connect to both soundbar and TV.

Step 5- Hide cables

The last step is to hide the connection cables. If the mounted wall is drywall then, make a tinny hole behind the soundbar as well as the TV.

Pass connection cables from the hole behind the soundbar, to behind the wall, and again pass back from the hole behind the TV.

However, You can easily hide the cables by using a cable management box or zip ties and hooks to hide them without making holes or damaging the wall.
